Overview
of the Executive Board
The board consists of four executive staff members:
President, Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, Recording
Secretary, and three Trustees. The board meets once
per month to discuss financial matters, current issues
confronting the union, and critical issues that may affect
the local's business in the future. Some of those issues
include the following:

Arbitration Authorizations

Future Labor Issues
Officers' Role
Officers are elected by you (the members) to serve the
union as business agents/representatives, to research
future strategy, to make fiduciary decisions, and to lead
the direction of the union. Once a month the officers
report the information to the membership in a General
Membership Meeting hosted by the officers.
Trustees
The trustees who serve on the board are members of Local
682 and represent all members of the union. Each
Trustee has a right to speak and vote on all decisions
passed by the Board. |
