WE NEED HELP! FOR THE PANTRY !!!!

 The Food Pantry put together last year is now empty. Therefore the call is going out to all who feel the need to help their brothers and sisters families. Soon you will see boxes in your shop for contributions. These contributions will be brought to the hall for distribution to members who need help getting over the down cycle of this recession.

 Therefore any member wishing to contribute food, food store gift cards, or otherwise please contact your agent for help! Foods of choice.

Pastas, Sauces, Soups, Beans, (provisions that need no refrigeration)

 On Saturday July 31, 2010 area Joint Council #13 Teamsters and KMOX radio sponsored a resupply drive for the fighting forces in the middle east. It was a great success. We had everything from bubble gum to toothbrushes including the paste that goes with it! As you will see it the photos everyone did a great job.

 Thanks! KMOX,SCHNUCKS,(especially Carol in bakery for the ice) HOLLAND, USPS, YELLOW, ABF, OLD SCHOOL BBQ (for the cook'in 682 own Mark Hamilton) the Patriot Guard, all the Joint Council Teamsters and their families. And all I have not intentionally forgotten.

 But most of all THANKS to our Troops! and their families who forever worry. You are not alone.

Teamsters Local Union No. 682

 The proposed Local Union Plan to nominate and elect delegates to the 2011 I.B.T. Convention to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June 2011 was submitted to the Election Supervisor on September 1, 2010.

The election plan is available for inspection at the Local Union office at:

5730 Elizabeth Ave. St. Louis. Mo. 63110

by any member of the Local Union, any candidate for International Office, and by the International Union or subordinate body. Upon request, each of the foregoing has the right to obtain a copy of the plan at no cost. Inspection may be made during the usual hours of the Local Union Office, which or:

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Monday thru Friday

Any interested Union member or body has a right to submit written comments to the election Supervisor concerning the Local Union Plan within 15 days of the submission of the plan to the Election Supervisor. Written comments should be addressed to:
