drivers of Montgomery Hauling voted 12 to 0 to join
Teamsters Local 682. We, the officers, staff and members,
welcome these new drivers to Teamsters Local 682. |

IBT
SOLID WASTE DIVISION COMES THROUGH FOR LOCAL #682

General President Hoffa's
newly formed Solid Waste Division really came through for
us, said Gary Cossarini, President of Teamsters Local 682.
The process seemed to slow with Veolia Solid Waste until
John Mahoney from the newly formed IBT division came to
town. Not only was John a valued negotiator but also
an educator on just how solid waste works.
Together Gary Cossarini and LaNita Miller of Teamsters
Local 682 with John Mahoney from the Solid Waste Division
of the IBT bargained the best contract these members have
ever had! It passed by an overwhelming margin.
The contract included wage increase, health and welfare
increases, AGC language, and Drive language.

May 20, 2007 |
Sysco Foods Teamsters voted overwhelmingly on May 20, 2007
to accept a new 6-year contract (69-15). The contract
increased wages and benefits, in particular Health and
Welfare.
